Inside, it features the latest scanning technology, offering unmatched scroll speeds for 1D and 2D barcodes, as well as the ability to capture images and barcodes and signatures on the screen of a mobile phone. Available in both wide-range and standard models, the decoding range of the hands-free option on both models can be adjusted to suit your needs, for example to equalize the EAS deactivation field or prevent inadvertent readings from nearby elements.

Programmable scroll speed of up to 100 in / 254 cm per second enables fast-firing scanning; indispensable in crowded environments. Thanks to omni-directional scanning, you won't have to waste time orienting the barcode with the scanner. And because the DS9808 can capture 1D and 2D barcodes on paper and mobile phones, you won't have to manually enter UPC codes.
