The Ubiquiti UVC-G4-INS is a compact 2K security camera designed for UniFi Protect installations where a small, discreet and easy-to-install camera is needed. Its 5MP CMOS sensor records at 2688 x 1512 resolution, offering more detail than Full HD for homes, offices, reception areas, small shops, rooms and compact monitoring points.
Its fixed focal length 2.8 mm ƒ/1.6 lens provides a wide field of view of 102.4° horizontal, 54.9° vertical and 120.6° diagonal, helping cover interior spaces from a compact body. Integrated IR LED illumination and an IR cut filter provide night vision up to 6 m, making it useful for short-range monitoring in low-light conditions.
Integrated with UniFi Protect, the UVC-G4-INS supports smart detections for people, vehicles and animals, making event review faster and more accurate. It also includes image settings such as color, brightness, sharpness, contrast, white balance, exposure control, 2DNR, 3DNR, motion-based noise reduction, masking and text overlay.
With WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, two-way audio, USB-C power and an included wall mounting accessory, this camera is easy to place in everyday security environments. Its compact polycarbonate housing, IPX5 protection, IK04 tamper resistance and UniFi Protect integration make it a practical option for modern 2K video surveillance.
