The NH-D9 TR5-SP6 4U is a high quality, quiet 92mm CPU cooler for workstations and servers with AMD Threadripper and Epyc processors using sTR5/SP6 sockets. Built on a foundation as solid as the DX model, with its dual-tower heatsink and full-coverage contact surface, the new TR5-SP6 version uses two of the award-winning Noctua NF-A9 92mm fans and PWM control, in its variant of higher speed, to achieve excellent performance and magnificent acoustic condition. The direction of the air flow of the NH-U9 is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the socket, making it ideal for structures in which hot air is expelled in this way. With pre-applied NT-H2 thermal compound, as well as the professional SecuFirm2™ mounting system for sTR5/SP6 that has been updated to meet the platform's new pressure specifications, the NH-D9 TR5-SP6 4U forms a High-quality complete package for workstations with Threadripper processors with socket sTR5 and Epyc servers with socket SP6 in 4U cases, both with silent cooling.

Thanks to their high acoustic efficiency, they are ideal for Threadripper and Epyc systems operating in noise-sensitive areas (e.g. audio/video production, content creation, engineering, etc.).

With dimensions of 70x56mm, the copper contact surface of the heatsink is more than twice the size of the conventional desktop model. Designed to fit the large integrated heat spreaders (IHS) of AMD's sTR5/SP6 processors, this custom design allows optimal heat flow from the base of the CPU, to the heatpipes, and over the cooling fins.

Thanks to its compact design (95x95mm with only one central fan, a second fan can be installed on both sides depending on the available space) and its total height of only 134mm, the NH-D9 TR5-SP6 4U provides excellent PCIe compatibility and is sufficiently small to fit in most spaces with 4U rack mount.

The air flow direction of the NH-U9 is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the sTR5/SP6 socket, making it ideal for systems where the case exhaust fans are located in this direction. For systems that require the airflow to be perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the socket, choose the NH-U14S TR5-SP6 or adapt the NH-U12S DX-4677 and NH-U9 DX-4677 heatsinks using the NM-TR5-SP6 kit

The NH-D9 TR5-SP6 4U is equipped with two of the award-winning Noctua NF-A9 PWM 92mm fans of the fastest variety: 2500rpm HS-PWM. This input and output configuration with dual fans allows for cooling performance that stands out among this type of compact heatsinks.

The professional-grade NF-A9 fans included in the NH-D9 TR5-SP6 4U support PWM function for convenient automatic speed control via the motherboard, allowing them to operate almost completely silently under light loads. and increase speed only when necessary. The included Y-cable allows you to power and control the fans simultaneously from a single connector on the motherboard.
