The Intel Core Ultra 7 265K processor is a powerful choice for high-demand gaming and content creation tasks, thanks to its latest-generation Arrow Lake hybrid architecture. This model has 20 cores (8 high-performance and 12 efficiency) and 20 threads, providing an efficient balance between performance and power consumption. Its performance cores have a base frequency of 3.9 GHz and reach up to 5.5 GHz in turbo mode, while the efficiency cores work at 3.3 GHz and rise to 4.6 GHz in times of high demand.

Performance cores (P-Cores) and Efficient cores (E-Cores) are types of cores in hybrid processors. Performance cores are designed for high-demand tasks, such as video games and video editing, with greater speed and power consumption. Efficient cores, on the other hand, are ideal for less demanding tasks, consuming less power to improve battery life. This combination allows performance and power consumption to be managed by assigning each task to the appropriate core.

This processor supports DDR5 memory up to 6400 MT/s in dual channel, significantly improving performance in multitasking and applications that require large memory capacity. It includes a shared 30 MB L3 cache and 36 MB L2 cache, optimized for fast response in data processing and complex tasks. In addition, it has integrated Intel Arc Xe2 graphics with 64 execution units, suitable for basic graphics support and multimedia tasks without the need for a dedicated GPU.

In terms of consumption, the Core Ultra 7 265K has a TDP of 125 W, with an adjustable power limit to maximize its performance, requiring an adequate cooling system. It also supports PCIe 5.0 with 20 lanes, facilitating the connection of additional components with high data transfer speed, ideal for gaming and workstation configurations.

This new generation incorporates an NPU (Neural Processing Unit) to improve performance in calculations related to artificial intelligence. This processing unit adds 13 TOPS of dedicated performance in AI. Together with the CPU and GPU, they can achieve a total performance of 33 TOPS.
