The M3-HV source is an intelligent source specially designed for CarPC or battery-powered equipment.

Its design is based on the previous model, M2, but with a spectacular reduction in size.

The use of HyperWatt technology makes it a source of small dimensions but with a large electrical capacity.

The M3-HV source has 5 different modes to configure its on / off system, which are user selectable via jumpers.

It must be taken into account that a normal source, even when the PC is completely off, consumes power, and if it is connected to a battery, it can cause it to discharge. This is because the PC constantly monitors the ON / OFF status of the PC. If it goes into suspend / slepp mode, it still consumes more, as it requires maintaining power from RAM. To avoid this, the M3-HV source can be configured to monitor the condition of the batteries in a way that maintains an adequate level of charge.

It should be noted that it is a completely silent solution since it does not have a fan or moving parts that can generate noise due to vibration.
