The Dynatron S6 is a high-performance active CPU cooler designed for Intel processors using the FCLGA 4677 socket, making it an ideal thermal solution for 3U servers, larger rackmount systems and professional workstations. Its 118 x 95 x 106 mm design combines a compact footprint with the cooling capacity required by demanding server-class CPUs.
Its heatsink uses an aluminum stacked-fin structure combined with heatpipes that directly contact the CPU, improving heat transfer from the processor to the cooling fins. This efficient thermal architecture enables the Dynatron S6 to dissipate up to 475 W of CPU power at an ambient temperature of 38°C.
An integrated 80 x 80 x 38 mm PWM fan automatically adjusts its speed according to system cooling requirements, operating from approximately 1,300 RPM at low duty cycle up to 4,500 RPM at maximum performance. At full speed, it delivers up to 76.95 CFM of airflow and 12.798 mm-H2O of static pressure.
The fan incorporates a durable double-ball bearing system rated for 70,000 hours of continuous operation at 40°C. Its four-wire PWM connection provides automatic speed regulation and tachometer monitoring, while Shin-Etsu 7762 thermal grease or equivalent helps ensure efficient thermal contact between the processor and heatsink.
