Its thermal solution combines 5 heatpipes with an aluminum fin base and aluminum fin stack, efficiently transferring heat away from demanding server processors. Dynatron specifies an estimated maximum supported CPU power of up to 550 W at an ambient temperature of 20°C, making the S5R1 suitable for high-performance Intel Sapphire Rapids platforms.
The integrated 60 x 60 x 25 mm PWM fan operates from approximately 2,300 RPM at low duty cycle up to 11,000 RPM at full speed.
