Axagon PCEM2-DC. Adaptador PCIe x4 a 2x M.2

The AXAGON PCEM2-DC internal adapter allows you to connect up to two M.2 SSDs to a desktop. Therefore, it is an ideal choice for upgrading a desktop that does not have an M.2 slot.

The adapter supports the use of single-sided and double-sided M.2 SATA and NVMe (PCI Express) SSDs. The reduction does not limit the SSD capacity and any M.2 card with a length of up to 110mm can be used. Simultaneous operation of both drives is commonplace.

Thanks to the 4-lane PCI-Express 3.0 interface compatible with x4, x8 and x16 slots, speeds of up to 8 GBps can be achieved. Compared to standard SATA SSDs, the bit rates of NVMe SSDs are many times higher.

High-quality card design, including copper-coated vents, help better dissipate heat generated during operation of M.2 SSDs. A metal cover with a fan and an attached passive cooler, incl. Thermal pads, help in cooling M.2 SSD. It results in an ideal combination of passive and active M.2 SSD cooling and heat removal. Thanks to cooling and temperature reduction of up to 35 °C, it is possible to use the maximum power of the deployed SSDs.

Dual blue LEDs indicate power on or data transfer in the M.2 slot. The package also contains a low profile knockout for mounting the adapter to low profile boxes.
