The high thermal conductivity of aluminum is fully preserved by a new type of extrusion. This new production process creates a powerful yet very compact radial heat sink. The particularly thin cooling fins of the new Alpine are deployed in a Y-shape. This increases the surface area of the heat sink and thus the cooling capacity.
The Alpine 23 CO features new motor technology with a very wide RPM range controlled by PWM. This keeps the noise level to a minimum while ensuring maximum cooling performance when needed.
The new Alpine 23 CO is powered by an updated engine and runs much more efficiently than its predecessors. Due to sinus magnetization, the new motor creates only 5% of the commutation vibration of a normal DC motor. These factors help save energy, lower coil temperatures and minimize vibrations without compromising performance.
Thanks to an alloy/lubricant combination developed in Germany, friction inside the bearing is reduced and higher efficiency is achieved. As a result, there is less heat development and less noise in the bearings, which means you can enjoy a longer life from your fan.
A 10°C lower motor temperature roughly doubles the life of a fan. The new ARCTIC motor has four times longer life thanks to its low coil temperature.
Pre-applied high performance MX-2 thermal compound ensures a quick and clean installation.
Thanks to the mounting clips, installation is really easy. Alpine 23 CO simply plugs into existing AMD retention modules and screws on.
