The DDR5-4800 SODIMM offers blazing frequencies of up to 4800 MT/s, a huge jump from the maximum frequency of DDR4 modules (3200 MT/s). This next-generation memory module runs on just 1.1V, making it 8% more power efficient than DDR4. In addition, it features an integrated Power Management IC (PMIC) to improve power supply stability.

The architecture of this memory module allows for more bank pools and memory banks. With the same area, more bank groups can be packed into the module, doubling what was possible with DDR4, giving you higher capacities. With on-matrix Error Correcting Code (ECC), this module can automatically correct errors in real time to provide higher stability and reliability.

DDR5 U-DIMMs have the same dimensions and number of pins as DDR4 modules. The most obvious difference is the position of the foolproof notch.
