MxThinClient connects your camera network with a monitor or TV device with an HDMI connection. To show live images of individual cameras or video intercoms in temporary change and / or of the camera with the last alarm (e.g., motion detection). Or also to display advertising messages in retail stores.

MxThinClient easily connects via network cable to a free PoE port of a switch to which the camera to be displayed is connected. Using the HDMI cable, the MxThinClient connection to the screen is established. By additionally connecting a router to the switch, remote cameras can also be displayed on the monitor, which can be accessed via an Internet connection through a dynamic DNS service.

MxThinClient does not require a license or maintenance, requires very little current (2 watts), can easily be powered through the PoE switch with emergency power and has starting stability (faster and more reliable self-start after a power failure). The network device is activated / deactivated by connecting and disconnecting the Ethernet interconnect cable that should receive the power. In the event that a current camera connection is interrupted, this will be indicated to the user through the screen.

With the disappearance of all control elements such as the keyboard and mouse and the "display-only function", very specific possibilities of use for MxThinClient are opened. In the field of stores with large customer movements, for example, in the entrance area, to indicate the existence of a video surveillance system (theft prevention). Or in those cases where no type of video system operation can be carried out and only live images from the camera (monitor wall) should be displayed.

MxThinClient can also display on the monitor or TV device the live image of the integrated MOBOTIX camera that triggered an event last due to a current event, such as p. eg, MxActivitySensor. Communication between the camera and the MxThinClient takes place through MxMessageSystem.
