The Scythe Mugen 5 cooler has been redesigned to be fully compatible with high profile memory modules. Its asymmetrical design allows full access to memory banks.
To ensure optimal performance and long life (up to 120,000 hours), the Mugen 5 incorporates a 120mm Kaze Flex fan with PWM function, which automatically adjusts between 300 and 1200 RPM.
It is made with a nickel-plated copper base and 6 heat-pipes. The blade design has been improved to offer less resistance to airflow, and also allows the installation of a second fan (not included) to improve cooling performance.
The mounting system includes several improvements for better use.
Scythe Mugen 5 offers maximum compatibility as it supports Intel Socket 775, 115x, 1366 and 2011 processors, as well as AMD socket AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, AM4, FM1, FM2 and FM2+ processors.
