Thanks to its high performance and low latency, it can meet the needs of virtualization, cloud services and server-to-server applications, making it perfect for small businesses.
Incorporating D-Link Green technology allows the switch to save power without sacrificing performance or functionality. The switches have smart built-in fans and internal heat sensors that monitor and detect temperature changes and react accordingly with different fan speeds for different temperatures.
At lower temperatures, fans run slower, reducing power consumption and switch noise. Checking the connection status dramatically reduces power consumption by automatically putting offline ports on standby. The concept of green IT goes one step further by incorporating a special chipset with advanced silicon technology for efficient use of energy.
Equipped with a full range of Tier 2 features, it includes Spanning Tree Port and Protocol Copy and Link Aggregation Control (LACP). Network maintenance features include loopback detection and cable diagnostics. Loopback detection is used to detect loops created by a specific port and automatically close the affected port.

ASV also guarantees real-time video quality to monitor and control without compromising the transmission of conventional network data. Auto Voice VLAN technology improves VoIP service by automatically directing voice traffic from an IP phone to an assigned VLAN. With a higher priority VLAN, these features ensure the quality and security of VoIP traffic. In addition, DSCP markings on Ethernet packets allow different levels of service to be assigned to network traffic. As a result, these voice and video packages take precedence over other packages.

It supports 802.1X port-based authentication and host-based authentication, allowing you to authenticate the network through external RADIUS servers. Additionally, the Access Control List (ACL) improves network security and helps protect your internal IT network. It includes ARP anti-phishing protection, which protects the network from intruders who can access data and modify or stop traffic by sending false ARP messages. To prevent ARP spoofing attacks, the switch uses packet control ACLs to block invalid packets that contain false ARP messages.
For added security, the DHCP Server Discovery feature blocks malicious packets from DHCP servers from user ports to prevent unauthorized IP allocation.
