Estos nuevos chips est\u00e1n basados en una nueva litograf\u00eda inferior a los 20 nan\u00f3metros. Esta nueva generaci\u00f3n de <strong>DRAM<\/strong> pasan de<strong> 8 Gbits <\/strong>a 16 <strong>Gbits <\/strong>de densidad, lo cual supone un aumento considerable de la capacidad por m\u00f3dulo.<br \/>Pero \u00bfQu\u00e9 beneficios reales supone esta mejora? Pues, esto prolongar\u00e1 la duraci\u00f3n de las bater\u00edas de los port\u00e1tiles y posibilitar\u00e1 ahorrar costes a los centros de datos y a los equipos de sobremesa de hogares y oficinas. Este nuevo avance, adem\u00e1s, contribuir\u00e1 al crecimiento de la inform\u00e1tica en la nube y las redes 5G.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un avance hacia el futuro.<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Gracias a todas las mejoras que proporciona este cambio en las <strong>DRAM<\/strong>, as empresas han decidido de manera un\u00e1nime que las hermanas peque\u00f1as de 8 Gbits ir\u00e1n desapareciendo progresivamente hasta ser <strong>descatalogadas<\/strong> por completo. \u00a0Teniendo en cuenta esta premisa y que por lo tanto, nos enfrentamos a un periodo de transici\u00f3n de estos componentes; si la vida \u00fatil de tu equipo es una prioridad, debes valorar la posibilidad utilizar componentes compatibles con las DRAM de 16 Gbits. De este modo podr\u00e1s asegurarse de que tu sistema sea actualizable. Los sistemas privilegiados que disfrutaran de este nuevo tipo de componentes ser\u00e1n los conjuntos de chips m\u00e1s recientes, como AMD Ryzen, Intel 9\u00aa Gen y posteriores. En sistemas Intel existen algunas peque\u00f1as <strong>dificultades<\/strong> que podr\u00e1n solucionarse con una <strong>actualizaci\u00f3n<\/strong> de BIOS:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8211; Servidores Intel.<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Purley con Cascade Lake (Xeon Serie x2xx) es compatible.<br \/>Purley con Skylake (Xeon Serie x1xx) no es compatible.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8211; Ordenadores port\u00e1tiles y de sobremesa Intel.<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Para las plataformas Intel de 8\u00aa Gen, deber\u00e1s consultar con el fabricante las especificaciones de la BIOS para saber si puede utilizar memorias de 16 Gbits.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8211; Plataformas AMD<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Todas las plataformas AMD que actualmente admiten DDR4 son compatibles con m\u00f3dulos de memoria basados en 16 Gbits.
