{"id":11638,"date":"2017-11-14T11:54:51","date_gmt":"2017-11-14T10:54:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ibertronica.es\/blog\/?p=11638"},"modified":"2022-03-17T12:45:34","modified_gmt":"2022-03-17T11:45:34","slug":"ram-32gb-nvdimmn-ddr4-micron","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ibertronica.es\/blog\/actualidad\/ram-32gb-nvdimmn-ddr4-micron\/","title":{"rendered":"Micron anuncia sus nuevos m\u00f3dulos de RAM DDR4 NVDIMM-N de 32Gb"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Micron ha anunciado hoy <strong>su nueva generaci\u00f3n de modulos NVDIMM-N<\/strong> que combinan <strong>RAM DDR4<\/strong> con <strong>memoria flash NAND<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Estos nuevos modulos tienen <strong>el doble de capacidad<\/strong> que sus anteriores NVDIMM y <strong>mejoran la velocidad de los DDR4-2933 CL21<\/strong> con creces, siendo ideales para usarlos en servidores.<\/p>\n<p>Micron no es nueva el mercado de las RAM <strong>Non-Volatile DIMM<\/strong>, sus primeras DDR3 NVDIMM fueron las que precedieron a la estandarizaci\u00f3n de JEDEC. A su vez, sus nuevos m\u00f3dulos de 32Gb fueron precedidos con mucho acierto por los de 8 y 16 Gb DD4 NVDIMM.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es NVDIMM?<\/h2>\n<p>Los NVDIMM-N de Micron son de tipo N, lo que significa que funcionan como las DRAM ECC DIMM\u00a0 pero tienen memoria flash NAND para hacer un backup de los datos en caso de que haya un corte de energ\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Esto es en contraste con la NVDIMM de tipo F cuya memoria es puramente flash. Cuando el sistema funciona con normalidad, las NVDIMM de Micron solamente usan DRAM, pero si el sistema experimenta un fallo de energ\u00eda o tiene signos de que va a ocurrir uno de manera inminente, los modulos FPGA salvan los contenidos de la DRAM a un m\u00f3dulo de 64Gb SLC NAND flash. Durante el fallo de energ\u00eda, este m\u00f3dulo se puede mantener en funcionamiento con un cable externo a un\u00a0 condensador AGIGA PowerGEM, o una bater\u00eda de reserva a trav\u00e9s del las ranuras DIMM de 12v.<\/p>\n<p><a onclick=\"javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('\/downloads\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/imagenes-Articulos-NUEVO2.jpg');\"  href=\"https:\/\/ibertronica.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/imagenes-Articulos-NUEVO2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-11641 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ibertronica.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/imagenes-Articulos-NUEVO2.jpg\" alt=\"RAM DDR4 NVDIMM-N\" width=\"660\" height=\"330\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ibertronica.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/imagenes-Articulos-NUEVO2.jpg 660w, https:\/\/ibertronica.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/imagenes-Articulos-NUEVO2-150x75.jpg 150w, https:\/\/ibertronica.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/imagenes-Articulos-NUEVO2-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ibertronica.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/imagenes-Articulos-NUEVO2-50x25.jpg 50w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 660px) 100vw, 660px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Este tipo de memorias NVDIMM se usan sobre todo para entornos de alto rendimientos y almacenamiento de registros para bases de datos.
