Su uso permitir\u00eda mejorar la velocidad de los relojes y el OC. Justin A Weibel, el profesor asociado a la investigaci\u00f3n en la Escuel de Ingenier\u00eda Mec\u00e1nica de Purdue, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que \u00abEn cuanto tienes dos chips apilados. El de abajo tiene que operar con menos potencia ya que no se puede refrigerar directamente. \u00abDe ah\u00ed naci\u00f3 la idea de integrar un sistema de refrigeraci\u00f3n como este.<\/p>\n<h4>Financiaci\u00f3n<\/h4>\n<p>La investigaci\u00f3n ha sido financiada por el DARPA (Agencia de Proyectos de Investigaci\u00f3n Avanzados de Defensa) con un prop\u00f3sito espec\u00edfico. Garimella, ha asegurado que esa meta ha sido alcanzada y a\u00f1adi\u00f3 lo siguiente. \u00abEste nuevo planteamiento supone una gran promesa su uso en tecnolog\u00eda de radar y superordenadores de gran rendimiento.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Aunque de momento este tipo de tecnolog\u00eda sea para su uso militar. Probablemente no tardaremos en ver esta tecnolog\u00eda aplicada en el uso dom\u00e9stico como ha pasado muchas otras veces.
